I travelled 42 days through Macau, Hong Kong, China, Mongolia & Taiwan in April-May of 2025. For majority of the trip I was able to get by wearing shorts and tank tops but Mongolia was much cooler. The temperatures ranged from 5-30°C.
Since I was travelling with my family, we ended up purchasing a new luggage at the end of the China portion of the trip. I was able to give them items so my bag had space for Mongolia and Taiwan.
